Today is a better day. I'm still in some pain but i can handle it. They still haven't let me eat or drink yet until I go get my xray this morning some time. The heart doctor came to see me and told me my heart rate went down last night and he wants me to make an appt with him when I'm feeling better. He said not to worry because it could be from the medicines but he wants to make sure! Thanks to everyone that sent me well wishes and prayers! I really appreciate it.

Not so bad after all right?  It get's better each day.  In a few days everything should have passed except the stomach crampy feeling.  That takes a week or so.

Good to hear from you chicka! I was just wondering about you. Did they conduct a leak test on you yet?

Stay on top of the heart condition though. I will say that after I had surgery my blood sugar dropped to 38!!!! They rushed like 4 nurses and a doctor into the room pumping me full of stuff. My mother almost freaked out. I think our bodies just instantly say... WHAT THA CUSS did you just do?!?!?!?!?

I just had my A1C checked and all is normal. I am in the PRE-Diabetic mode now. They stopped the Metformin the day of surgery and I PRAY to NEVER go back!!!

I'm having the leak test this morning. By the way, I didn't even have a drainage tube in at all!

I couldn't eat or drin****il the leak test either. The liquid they make you drink is REALLY terrible! I was able to keep it down just long enough for them to check for leaks then it came right back up, sorry for the TMI, but I have nightmares about the taste of that still. lol

Glad you are feeling better! Congrats again on your surgery!

I'm so glad to hear you are doing well! Give it about a week or 2 and you will feel much better. I'm almost 4 weeks out (this Friday) and so far I've lost 18 lbs but I'm at the dreaded 3-week stall :( Haven't lost anything in a little over a week. I'm still following plan and my husband just bought me a treadmill the other day so I just really started walking (exercising) 2 days ago. Hopefully this helps me to start losing again. Good luck with your tests and I hope you get to go home soon! Take care

I am so excited for you! I hope the leak test goes well and that you can start getting some liquids in ya. Just take it day by day, and like everyone says, it gets better and better each day. I am 4 weeks out today, and I have lost 33lbs! You can do this! Good luck with your heart.
