Another Stall!
I have been in a stall for the last 2 weeks. The scale doesn't want to move! I know I have to up my water and protein. Getting in enough of both is still hard a 2 months out. I'm going to really try and get more in as I sit here drinking a nasty protein shake, but it has 25g of protein.
Oh dear. You will remain at a stall until you increase your fluid intake. 64 oz is the MINIMUM, but most of the successful VETS recommend at least 100 oz.
Force yourself to drink any fluids, hot, warm or cold, but do it. Your body needs it because so much protein is dehydrating. Good luck.

Have you tried chicken broth? I find that warm fluids go down easier. Also my tummy would not tolerate sweet drinks after surgery. So I'd put a scoop of protein powder into chicken broth and get my fluids and protein all at once.
best of luck,
Carol

Crystal Light is still my main source of fluid. I'm just now getting to where I can drink a small amount of plain water but not enough.
Protein drinks - I like cappucino or chocolate flavors - hot (warm).
How are you doing w/ lactose? Still feeling the intolerance? Sorry about the stall! I know how frustrating they are! You'll get there...just take it day by day.
Have you tried different options for water? Flavored? Warm? Cold? Lukewarm? Distilled? Etc?
I actually like my protein shakes, so no help there!

Stalls can be so frustrating especially when all we want is for the weight to fall right off. I just broke from one a few days ago and the scale dropped big within 3 days so that is something to look forward to. We are in the same boat because I only get in about 60 - 65 grams of protein a day and I force myself to have the 32 or maybe 48 oz of water that I do get in. Worse part is that I can no longer drink the shakes so I'm eating those proteins in lowfat cheese, cold cuts, egg whites, yogurt, fish, you name it. I know it will get better though.
