When could you eat an egg?

Hi. I'm almost 3 weeks out. I made a scrambled egg and ate really slowly. It went down ok. About 30 min later, I got the watering mouth and vomited. Was it just too much for me? At what point could you eat one egg?

I had a scrambled egg at exactly 2 weeks out. I only ate half of it, but I didn't have any side effects. Take a break and try again in a couple weeks :)

I'm two  months out and don't think I've eaten a whole egg yet. I've had half a hard boiled egg with mayo,  And about half a scrambled egg with cheese and maybe a little meat.

I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and I tried a soft scrambled egg yesterday. I cold only eat 1/2 of it and then it made me feel awful for the rest of the day. Not like I wanted to vomit, but I just didn't feel good after eating it.

I wasn't allowed to try anything but liquids for four weeks, but once I got the green light, I had no problems. My guess is that you ate too much. Next time try eating half of an egg only and see if that gives you the same problem.

I could only do a 1/2 an egg starting at 2-3 weeks.  I'm 3 months out and have trouble getting a whole egg in.  Make sure and add a little milk to it.  It will make the egg fluffier and easier to digest.

It's amazing how one egg can scramble right up too big right??? Did you ever imagine in your wildest dreams that one egg would make you too full? I think you might have been better off with a half....even though it sounds like you did well with timing, your tummy just rejected it. It's still healing, and will continue to heal for 6 months. Keep at it, but next time, try one bite at a time, do something and come back to it later. That method really worked well for me. You might want to stay on the protein drinks another week. Don't be afraid of vomiting though, you'll be fine. Just more wary. Also pick a normal soup, just strain the pasta or veggies from it-- Those premade broths aren't worth bringing home IMHO.

You're doing great!!

I'm 15 days out and I are 3 tiny baby spoonfuls of a scrambled egg yesterday as I was cleared for soft foods yesterday and that is all I could get in. Dawn

My NUT told me that lots of people have issues with eggs because they make them too dry.  So either leave them a little wet when scrambling or add in a laughing cow cheese wedge to make it more moist.

I plan on having hard boiled egg pureed with avocado tomorrow as my first non-liquid food.  So I'll find out tomorrow!
