I hope you're all ready for the weekend. My big plans this weekend are to cheer my partner on while he runs a 5K Saturday night and then a half-marathon on Sunday morning. I think he's insane, but I love him anyway.
I've been thinking a lot about making my own transition to running, but it still seems really intimidating to me. It hunk I'll wait until I finish this course of physical therapy and get my therapist's blessing to start C25K.
S: 1/2 frankenshake (protein powder, 2T benefiber, 1T collagen)
B: egg/tuna salad mixture
L: Silken Tofu with Spicy Sausage
D: Froyo protein popsicle
Water and vites: on track
Exercise: 60 minutes on the treadmill at 1% incline. I got 5 minutes in at 2.7! Total 2.57 miles.

Happy Friday everyone! The weather is still kind of gross in Chicago, but at least it is Friday. I'm going to try not to stay up too late tonigh****ching the Hawks play. The later evening is a tricky time for me (snack monster!).
Gwen -- we are in sync w/ timing! But you beat me to the post by half a minute or so! :)
Here is my plan:
B - Chike
S - greek yogurt w/ blueberries
L - crustless quiche w/ sweet potatoes
S - apple w/ pb2 (or string cheese)
D - chicken cordon blue casserole w/ broccoli (super delish)
S - cottage cheese & blackberries
E - 3 miles run (new personal best time!) & yoga
W - on track
V - eek!

B - 12 oz Shake - 1 scoop Isopure Zero Carb Vanilla and 1 scoop Click Mocha Espresso
L - 1 oz pastrami
S - String Cheese or SF Pudding w/protein added
D - Tuna Salad and 4-6 oz shake before bed

W - Slow start, but going to get it in some how
E - Planning to hit the gym today - Treadmill atleast and see how my body feels
