Bathtub NSV

Perhaps I am just now noticing this because when I try to take relaxing tub baths my daughter comes to talk to me about her latest boy crush, my husband comes to stare & I usually have dog & cat eyes watching my every move...but tonight, daughter is on the phone, only 1 pup came to sit in the bathroom & my husband is at work so...first let me tell you I have a standard size one person tub, nothing fancy-just big enough for my nearly 5 foot 9 inch self to comfortably sit down in with just a little foot room left, before surgery & starting my loss journey my rear & thighs would keep all the water from draining out of the tub - ie a butt damBut tonight as I was relaxing in the tub I noticed that my rear & thighs weren't touching the sides of the tub like they once did keeping the water from draining out all the way until I stood up.  I actually said oh my gosh out loud which caused my little dog to peer over the side of the tub at me on her hind legs but I was just shocked and amazed.  I sat in there till all the water drained out.  NSV NSV! long ways to go but I'm getting there.

Butt Dam...... that's a new one !!!

My arms wouldn't fit when laying in a standard tub...... and the overflow factor....

I thought for sure I was going to be found dead in the bath tub..... was about a 7 step process to get in and about 11 step process to get out....very dangerous !

Now it's on fluid motion....

Great NSV !

Awesome NSV!!  I can't wait to take a bath and be comfy!  Too funny about all your company in the bathroom. Sounds like my house...except my chihuahua gets in the tub and sits on my stomach!  Arggg.

I love "butt dam"!  I remember that and am thankfully no longer in possession of one.  Great NSV!  Congrats!

Love "Butt Dam"! I used to make one, too.

Actually, I grew to really hate baths so much so that I haven't ever really gone back. I've taken a few as a last resort the first winter after VSG when I couldn't get warm. Otherwise, I've turned into a shower guy. A hangover from obesity that hasn't changed.

Hmmm..... maybe I'll have to try a nice hot bath sometime soon and see if I really do like them.

Yeah---nothing better than a relaxing bath -- without a butt dam!
