Life Changes

I believe that yesterday marked a full 8 weeks from surgery for me.  My life has already changed drastically.  3-4 months ago I would have complained at being too busy if I had more than 2-3 things scheduled for a week, now I feel like I'm not busy enough if I only have 2-3 things scheduled for a day.  It's pretty amazing.

This week I added team trivia back into my life (yay!) on a casual basis and that's a pretty exciting thing.  Although I have lost choir for the summer since my choir is attached to the local community college.  So that's sort of a one-for-one trade.

I did, however, sign up for the fitness pass at my local community college which allows me to take any "passport" classes I want from the beginning of May until the end of August.  I tried out Pilates for the first time on Thursday and then I did Tai Chi and Pilates today as well.

I'm still keeping up with my cardio at the gym three times a week, mental therapy weekly, and physical therapy twice a week.  And, of course, other doctor appointments and social outings with friends.

I've also found that my usual 9am wake up time has morphed into 7:30-8am with no distress on my part.

This is all fairly astounding to me.  Lots of positive life changes, lots of activities, lots of involvement, and I'm loving this new life of mine.

Oh.  I've also lost some weight ;)
