Premier Protein

This thread is depressing me.  This is the only protein drink I have found that I actually somewhat enjoyed.  Plus, the 30g were a very nice bonus.  The last two cases I had, the only two cases I have had, were great.  I actually have to drive an hour and half to get to a cosco so I was planning on doing that this weekend since I am out as of this morning.  Got me wondering if I should even make the trip now.

I am like you.. I have been drinking them for 2 yrs! I've tried a few others but always come back to this one. I will probably still purchase. Just finding it frustrating to run into a bad batch. Sam's has honored w/ exchange every time. I have emailed the company to see what they say. (but just did it so have no response yet)

Have you tried some of the powders?  There are some pretty decent ones.  I have liked the Body Fortress (available lots of places including Walmart and Safeway) and Pure Protein (available at Walmart, Target, etc).  I also went into The Vitamin Shoppe (like GNC) and they have tons to choose from (read the labels for protein and carbs and calories) and some have samples.  I tried Chike this morning and if you like coffee, it was pretty darn good.

This happened to me a few months ago with a case I bought at BJ's.  I called Premier Protein Customer Service and complained.  They asked for the code on the top of the box and the expiration date.  I was told that it was perfectly ok as it was just protein separation.  However, they sent me a new box free.  A month later they sent me another free box (chocolate) of their new and improved flavor.  So called them and they will replace it for you.

What a surprise to come across this post!  I have been drinking this for a couple of years, always bought at Costco.  About 2 months ago, I opened a new package and tried about 3 of the bottles.  All were an odd, thick consistency.  I returned to Costco and bought another.  The next package has been fine.  Seems like they're having some quality consistency issues.  

You know I didn't buy Premier but I bought a case of EAS AdvantEdge RTD from Sam's in Chocolate and notice a few bottles I drank from tasted ok but had chunks in them.

I have been drinking them since a year now, and I agree, I bought 2 cases of 18 each and found gross, lumpy texture in the shakes, I called premier protein customer service and let them know. They asked me for the item number & expiry date, and happily replaced the 2 cases for free, and shipped it right to my door.

I buy them regularly for the past three years and there has been two instances where I had bad cases. The most recent are those with a best before date of October 1, 2014.  One case I returned, the second was just a little thick and since I add iced and coffee and blenderize it they are fine. My Costco hasn't got the new version in yet.  Does it say new or something on the label?  What is best before date? 

I wish I had done this instead of throwing mine away.
