Back from surgery!
I'm BACK!!!!!!!!! I am SO glad to be home!!!!! My stomach is VERY sore, and I do randomly get some nausea, but i'm hoping by this weekend most of that will be gone! I seriously can't believe that i've had my surgery, and that I am now officially a LOSER!!!! What a great feeling!!!!!! My hospital nurses had NO clue about the needs for my surgery, they were bringing me jello (that wasn't sugar free), apple juice... and a thermous of water with a big straw coming out of it..... every one of those things was on my "NO NO" list! haha, I felt bad having to keep telling them I couldn't have that stuff....I wasn't really hungry at all, but they did finally get me some broth and sugar free jell-o! Well, I'm gonna go to bed, all these pain killers are getting to me! haha, Thank you all soooo much for your support! It really means SO much to me!!!! Good luck to everyone on here :-)

CONGRATS ON BEING A LOSER!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOO!! Glad to hear everything went well. As for the nurses having NO clue, that same thing happened to me...they even brought me SPRITE!! I broke down and started crying (I was all emotional after my surgery)...I was like, "I COULD DIE IF I DRANK THIS!" Hahaha....perhaps a bit over-dramatic, but still...you have to be your own advocate in recovery and stick up for yourself when you know they are giving you something you're not supposed to have. I also had to remind the nurses when I was supposed to get all my meds!!!
