Hey there,
I prepare food for the rest of my family just the same as always.  Now they are eatting things that aren't so commonly cooked right now, being I'm only a few days out.  I'm feeling great, and made a beef/veggie soup.  I was able to eat the broth, and they had the whole soup and sandwiches.  Tonight for example, being from South Louisiana, I couldn't resist but to cook rice and gravy with chicken!!  My DH and Son had the whole dinner, and I fixed myself a bowl of gravy and a bowl of water that I boiled the sweet peas in!   It was great, a big change from broths, jello, and popsicles!!!!  I wanted some flavor that I've been missing.  I used to cook rice and gravy probably 3-4 times a week!!!!!  I was really missing that flavor.  I watch my hubby and son in envy, b/c they can actually chew their foods, but it's only a matter of time before I move up to mushies, and can have textures.  Even then, I plan on continuing to cook the same for them, putting my share in the magic bullet and pureeing it for me.  I don't want to feel like I'm having to leave everything behind.  My star meals, such as rice and gravy are actually cooked really healthy, as opposed to most people I know.  I never use grease, jus****er and the natural juices from the meats!!!  It won't be as hard as it seams!!  I promise!!!

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.

Im doing things like normal, but hubby pointed out that im cooking alot healthier. I felt horrible because the week I was gone in the hospital and the week after it was frozen meals or fast food. And I hated the thought of my baby eating all that fried crap, so I just had to start cooking again. It grossed me out at first, but now im fine. Things still make me gag, but I still gotta cook. Its weird because my 19 month old eats ALOT more than I do during the day.. Its just hard to realize that.
