I am having a normal day.  This is what I ate for breakfast and was satisfied.

By weight, it was 4 ounces, using a digital food scale.

2 ounces-chicken breast
1 ounce- cheese
1 ounce- brown rice gluten free tortilla
no sauces or seasonings were eaten, it was just those 3 ingredients folding over and browned into a quesadilla in a panini press....YUM!

Remember I have a severe wheat allergy, so I'm not sure if wheat flour tortillas fill a person up more, or swell, and I don't know if my rice based stuff slides more.  I hope they are all comparable.

At 8 months, my capacity hasn't changed much from 3-4 months out. I can comfortably eat 4oz (1/2 cup) of mushy things like cottage cheese, and 2 1/2 (generally) of anything dense.  I measure and limit myself.

I noticed that I could eat more at 9 months out.

I never measure my food nor have I ever tested my sleeve size. Honestly I don't believe in it because it's not practical for me.

However, I do eat until I am satisfied and not til I am full. My sleeve is finicky. Some days I can put more into it and some days I can put less. But if I put too much it will definitely remind me whose in charge. I have no qualms in saying that...I am my sleeves *****

When I am satiated I stop.

Eventhough I can eat more then I could 6 months out. It's still a significatly less than what I ate two years ago.

Well, I did the cottage cheese test.  I can eat 8 ounces here at pretty much a year out.  This is right on course for a 36 french bougie.  I read where Frisko said that 36 french could eat 8-12 ounces at a year out.  I'm OK with that.  It's a whole heck of a lot less than I could eat before surgery.
