117.8 - unchanged. One week before I weigh again.
Yesterday we did go to the Beach Club but left early because it clouded up. The humidity is back full force again. We had a shower at the beginning of our bocce match and it is pouring right now. I skipped Book Club because I got into a sudden funk yesterday afternoon and just didn't feel like socializing. Possibly anxiety over traveling again?
Last night we watched Jeopardy and an 18 year old young woman won. Amazing bright young person and very confident. She said she had wanted to be on Jeopardy since she was 8 but had to wait until she reached their minimum age of 18.
I saw the listing of Paula's house which just went back on the market officially. It is such a beautiful place! Hopefully someone else will want to snap it up with the right terms.
This morning I am doing laundry to leave the house neat (towels and sheets). Packing needs to be finished and I have a meeting for the golf association. I am a bit unhappy that I am missing the opening day since they rescheduled it to next week. We leave for the airport at mid-day.
But first a Justice walk! Have a theoretical Thursday!

Cold and rainy here again today. Liz you are probably on your way to the airport, or already there by now. I say wear your resort wear colors everywhere : )
I sure am glad we didn't go with our initial plan for BFF's birthday dinner, which was a bonfire (because we thought her grandkids were coming). Indoor plans are needed today.
I have a few last cleaning tasks, and I need to frost the cake, but everything else is pretty much prepared and ready to go. I wanted to make this a bit more special than just regular dinner. After the last few months, BFF needs some TLC.
Tomorrow I can pack for Galveston. Weather reports continue to look awesome, with low 80s and some sun everyday.
You are such a good friend

204.0 this morning. Yay! Seems I've lost all the travel weight. Now to keep going so I'm at a prime weight for surgery. Of course I want to lose weight over the holidays!!!! Nothing like a challenge from HELL! At least I won't have school and all the holiday treats to manage. This will be my first non school "eating season" in 32 (or is it 33?) years! Maybe being away from all the "free food" will make it easier to stay on track the last 10 weeks of the year.
Does not look like I will be able to reschedule my PS. I had really hoped to do it that first week of December, but alas, he's completely booked that week. I may be able to have it done on the 10th, but then I'm kind of worried that I won't be quite presentable for my Palm Springs trip on January 1. Luxury decisions!
I saw the listing for Paula's house, too. I LOVE IT! It is the type of house I would love to move into were I able to move. Too bad it's in Wisconsin! The kitchen.... sigh...
I played hooky from the dog show today. LOL! You know I'm burned out, if I skip a dog show day. I will finish trimming Buster and Grizz today and then drive up to the show this evening. I'll spend the night up there tonight, but come home and commute the rest of the weekend.
Okie dokie... not much else to write today... More later
Just saw Paula's FB posting. Yahoo!!!!

122.1, back on the downward trend. A little stress makes me eat more, a lot of stress makes me eat less! Guess which one I've been under! Lol!
As some of you have already seen, we have another buyer for our home and this time no home selling contingencies! We are thrilled and I'm pretty sure the buyers are too! They were the first people to schedule a showing, hours after it listed. I guess they have been trying to find the right house for over a year! It really has been a great home for us! Same closing dates, November 14 for WI home and November 17 for FL home!
Not much happening today besides signing house contracts! Gotta get back to selling furniture and packing up boxes. We are going to see if the FL sellers might let us rent from them for a week prior to closing (since they are already out of the house) so we don't have to stay in a hotel or VRBO with the dogs. We can sign all the title papers for WI the week prior.
Safe travels Liz and DD! I have friends that are visiting Sedona right now and they just love it! Such a beautiful area!
Congrats on the scale moving in the right direction Peps! Remind me what PS you are starting with. I think face but can't remember for sure!
Greetings all
Another sunny day here but kind of windy. Still I could feel warm sun on my back when out and about. I did a bank deposit and then went to the gym and walked. Saw my sparkly friend there in a purple sequined witch hat. Love it. I started to listen to old Moody Blues music but dumped that quickly. Not what I remembered. After that I made a quick store stop for half and half and a few essentials. Farmers market is outside the store and has the usual hippie music.
DH was very industrious this morning - loads of laundry, watering flowers, cleaning the vacuum and all manner of things. No clue why but I will take it. Little does he know that we are having spaghetti squash tonight. I have never made it before and he may hate it.
Congrats on the house deal Paula. It was meant to be. Hoping you can do the rental deal you want in Fla. I think that is pretty common.
Well Liz if book club is not appealing then don't go. You have enough to do. Congrats on the continued maintenence.
Peps I bet the other dog show people were glad for your absence today so they could have a shot! You really clean house wherever you go. Glad you have lost the "travel baggage".
Rats on the rain DD. But I am sure your dinner party will be great - rain or shine. Not a fire pit day for sure.
Our neighborhood is really getting decked out for Halloween. And our princess bush is blooming beautifully and sadly we will have to cut it soon because it blocks the kitchen windows.
