118.2 - no damage from Christmas Day or brunch/leftover eating yesterday. Amazes me, but I guess I have learned that it is the sustained eating pattern that causes a gain (or loss). My weight is about the same as it was the morning we left Florida 11 days ago.
We had a nice brunch with DD and DS before driving the 2.5 hours back to our place on Cape Cod. That extra hour makes it feel so remote compared to where I used to live.
Last night was a better sleep night than the prior one when I coughed and choked most of the night (and quite a bit yesterday afternoon). I think the steroid spray is finally starting to knock back the sinus infection.
Light snow outside right now so we are leaving a white Massachusetts in a couple of days. It has actually been very pretty and not affected our driving luckily. The cold has been rough though.
We had originally planned on being here the rest of the weekend before we leave early Monday morning. However DSD decided to stay at my SILs before driving back to NJ tomorrow so we are going to meet them for dinner tonight at a nice fish place which DSD has wanted to go to. But my drive there to drop something off tomorrow has been cancelled (I will leave it with SIL), so that gives most of tomorrow back to do laundry, clean a bit, and pack.
Have a sparkler Sunday!

I think driving the tarmac in ORD takes longer than the flight! I'm here for the next 4 hours. Then on to PHX. Planning to get my free birthday coffee at Starbucks and watch the latest season of The Diplomat while intermittently people watching. It was another icy morning with a deicing of the plane. It was sunny in the air though! Bless all of you who do and did this winter after winter!
Looking forward to a chilly house! It was really nice to spend the holiday with my folks and I think they were really glad I came.
Not much else to report. Enjoy your days!
Happy birthday!!!! Enjoy your return home (after the pain of traveling).

Liz, do you think your flights might be impacted by the snow tomorrow? Hope not. I hope your sinus issues are more resolved too before you have to get on an airplane.
Peps, I'm glad Ron defended you. You are no sterotype, you are perfectly yourself.
The light show was really fun. The lights were amazing, and they had a great choir. It was done by a company called Fever. I think they also do candlelight concerts nationwide. We've seen those advertised, but weren't sure of the production quality. We will try one out now for sure. One thing I really liked too is that when they do shows like Luminesence in historic buildings, money goes to the restoration fund of the building.
We all slept in this morning. Like Liz, DD is fighting a virus that may be a sinus infection at this point. DS and his girlfriend left to go snowshoeing and then meeting up with one of my son's lifelong friends who is home for Christmas. DD got together with her friends that still live here, or were home also. I love that they have these connections. One of DD's friends was someone she met in kindergarten : )
DH and I don't have any plans for today. I don't need to cook anything, because we still have enough leftovers. Yay! I think I am recovered from the marathon cooking that began on the 23rd and ended Christmas night.
It's so fun having a doggy in the house. Last night he snuggled under my TV watching blanket and fell asleep in my lap.
