I am getting so excited for you!!! Two weeks! You are going to have an absolutely fabulous time! Good luck on the packing. I try to just pick the luggage I am willing to schlep around and pack what will fit which is still always more than I really need.

Trip is coming up fast! Happy packing! Impressed that you can do your own alterations!

The soup is good! It made a ton, so I'll have to freeze a bunch of it. It must be a few pennies a bite. A bag of dried beans, 1 ham hock, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 1 tbsp butter. Water. And that's it. I wish we still had Home Ec classes in schools. With groceries so expensive, this would be such an inexpensive, easy filling meal for a family.

Hi all!

Not much going on in my world. We went to see Cirque du Soleil Echo yesterday. Cirque du Soleil is always impressive and Echo was no different.

Just been getting my ducks in a row for the big Palm Springs dog shows this upcoming weekend (Friday - Monday), Molly's breeding, and my surgery. Then I guess I'll be getting a lot of down time to relax and recuperate.

NYE plans are to stay in. We're thinking of picking up take out Chinese and watching a movie. I want to leave at 6 AM Thursday morning, so ringing in the New Year

Bundling up... I guess it's all relative! I thought it was so warm here today. It didn't get out of the 50s, but it was sunny! For a while I was in shirtsleeves. Same temps Paula is talking about bundling up for! LOL!

I haven't been out for NYE other than dinner at a normal time in years. I don't even stay up until midnight LOL.

Last show before your PS? If you are lucky you won't bruise much so your downtime will be minimal. I bruised a lot so I was totally in for a week, then wearing dermablend makeup (the thick stuff) to cover the bruising for probably another 3 weeks.
