Hospice is providing some in home care currently, but hopefully they can increase it, especially since they are unable to provide the respite care right now. Hoping there isn't ice for me to deal with tomorrow. Maybe BFF will have to hire a professional driver like Uber. Sadly the light rail doesn't come my way. It goes north to Minneapolis from the airport, but not south out to the suburbs. Public transit is not one of our strong attributes.

On BFF - her plane probably won't get in if there is a super bad ice storm, but if so can she take an Uber instead?

The only thing to do about your Mom at this point is to think positive. What will be will be. You will manage one way or another. Hard though to not know what the future is bringing.

My friend was listening to me whine and suggested a neti pot to rinse out my sinuses. So I got this from Walgreens along with distilled water you mix a salt solution into. https://shop.neilmed.com/products/sinugator-cordless-pulsati ng-nasal-wash-blue

It pulses the water into your sinuses and the washout is horrific and fantastic all at once. I'm a new fan for life. Good for sinus infections too it says. I feel like breathing is an option again!

I read about that for sinus infections. Kind of gross but effective.
