Yeah, I never worried much about heartworm up north either but since I got Justice I do. Luckily those pills don't bother him at all. In fact he loves his heartworm pill day because I put them in some cheese. It is just one of the vaccines that he reacts to. Speaking of which the vet wants to try each one separately next year to identify the culprit. He did have the leptospirosis one separately this year and it did not cause a reaction so it is one of the others.
