Last day of DD's visit. She leaves at 4 this afternoon. We had a good golf tournament yesterday. Lots of complements from everyone on the event and the luncheon. It really did go off well even though our golf foursome came in DFL (last). But we had fun playing! I played a lot better on Sunday. For some reason I reverted back to my prior play.

Dinner last night at the Beach Club was enjoyable and delicious. DH had 2 glasses of wine which he usually doesn't drink (he is a light beer guy), so I had to drive home. He definitely was a bit sloshed.

Today is probably beach prior to DD's departure since it is going to be a beautiful day and she has to go home to lots of snow. Dinner will likely be leftovers.

Power came on finally yesterday afternoon at my SILs home and DH's home on Cape Cod. Hopefully there are no broken pipes. I did some research and it seems likely that there wouldn't be any given the amount of time the power was out and the fact that the house was unopened. The temperature probably dropped to somwhere in the high 30s to low 40s.

Justice heartworm pill coming up (in cheese, his favorite), then walk time. Have a fabulous Friday!

189.2 Nice to see an 8 in there! As is always the case with me being tall, the losses are hard to notice.

It's hot here. 80 yesterday and 79 today. The folks are loving it. And while I can objectively see it's beautiful, it's too soon to be this beautiful!

The flagstone cap went in easily yesterday! As easily as a 750 pound piece of rock can. So that can be ticked off the list. The gate install starts Monday. The folks go home Wednesday so we're in the final stretch.

Today is my crazy neighbor's birthday, so I will go get her an orchid or something along those lines. She always gets me something.

Otherwise, we need to figure out dinners for the next few days and go to the grocery store and walk the dog.
