Wow! Not even 70? I think I would feel chilly a lot of the time.

118 - still 1.2 pounds more than I was 3 days ago, but .4 less than 2 days ago. I won't weigh again until Friday because we are going places again this week.

Yesterday we did the Tiki Bar lunch, followed by outdoor venue for music, and a final stop at a bar where the bartender is basically a comedian. I did slip in a good walk and water aerobics before that though. Chinese takeout for dinner and a friend of mine came over to meet the girls. I put away the ton of leftovers in the refrigerator and went to bed at 9. The food will pretty much all have to be tossed out later today before we leave.

We will go to the beach club around 10, hang around there and have lunch until mid-afternoon. Then clean-up, pack, and get the condo closed down again. Hopefully at least some of the sheets and towels will get washed before we leave but if not I will do them when I return in a month. I have already started my closing list to make sure I don't forget anything.

I am looking forward to seeing DH tonight. Our plane doesn't get in until after 10 and he will have driven 1.75 hours to pick me up. He got a hotel room at the airport for the night so he doesn't have to drive back right away. When he went home on Thursday his flight got delayed and he didn't get back home until 2:30 am.

Another beautiful sunrise this morning. Too bad the girls sleep in too late to see it. Have a spectacular Sunday!

You should have come for the weekend here with the girls! Gaining weight with the junky junk food they have been buying sure seemed to bring my weight up. Somewhat less alcohol has been consumed this weekend I think, though there has been bar hopping. I had very little yesterday because I was driving. Lots of water though with the heat!

You have been very dedicated to your gym time. I hope you feel more fit from it. Keeping moving is key to being healthy.

Quest chips are whey? I didn't realize that. I have bought them a couple of times and like them.

121.9, slowly climbing but not sure it will stay.

I have my pre-op appointment for my plastic surgery on Monday. I was surprised to see that it is scheduled with a physician's assistant and not the person I scheduled the surgery with. I'm a bit miffed about that. At the surgery consult there were several issues that we were going to discuss or finalize later (i.e., how far my leg incisions would go, how to fix the extra skin in the mons pubis area). Kind of hard to do that when your surgeon isn't there! Are we going to discuss it all 30 minutes before cut time?

Our home showing will be Wednesday. Still lots of stuff to be done. Throwing stuff out daily!

Tomorrow we will drive the 3 hours to take my Mom to lunch then drive back home! DC1 will join us!

Lots of fun activities planned with the girls Liz! Is there as much alcohol consumption as there was for the bachelorette party weekend? Hope you are all having fun!

DD, your dinner table looks lovely. How fun to still have the nice dinnerware to use. I had my Mother in Laws China but we gave it away when we sold our last house (no one wanted to buy it). Never had my own. I do remember my Mom's silver and polishing it before Holidays!

Diane, still going strong with the stairs. Yay you!

Hopefully traveling is going well for Peps and the dogs.

While I would love to do a Sedona meetup yet this year, I don't think it would be in the cards for us until later 2026!

Yoo Hoo

Where is everybody? I am in my usual spot. This morning it actually rained! It is still overcast and breezy but rain in August is unusual.

So I did my gym walking including the stairs. Automatically headed for the elevator. Just as hard as yesterday. After that I did some studio time and did glazing. Got some of the dog blankets washed but here is more to do. Also starting a trip list. I have two blooms on the sweet peas but the wild sweet peas are blooming hugely all over th place. Why bother to plant my own?

Liz pizza is certainly the go to easy food for guests but also easy to get tired of. Glad you are having fun with your guests and I am sure you will find a good dinner option.

Dinner here is pot pie from the deli. I think DH is getting tired of it but it is really quite good. Not like the frozen ones from childhood.

Happy birthday Ocean Diane! Hope some fun is planned.

We watched the last episode of Untamed last night. Had an interesting plot twist.

Enjoy your dinner party DD. You table looks great!

I can;t remember if I reported that I tried some Quest protein chips. They were actually pretty good - very chippish - and are mainly made from whey. Only in America do they take milk and make it seem like a potato chip.

118.2 - that quick increase in weight is holding. Should be interesting to see what happens over the next week. I don't feel like I am eating much more than normal but I am eating different things (and maybe more salty?).

The boat ride with the "girls" yesterday was a lot of fun. The evening out was okay - great band but the ambiance and food was so-so. Lots of leftover pizza that probably will end up being thrown out.

Yesterday we took the boat ride at the town just south of here and today we go to the one just north. First my walk and water aerobics. Then with the girls for lunch, outdoor music venue, and a stop at a bar where there is a very funny bartender that they like. Dinner back here - some kind of takeout but I don't know what? We had pizza last night and I don't know what else these guys eat though it seems like pub food is their favorite.

Have a super Saturday!

Well, good thing for a higher price to accommodate that commission. Most good realtors are worth every penny though.
