Hi, I'm Debbie.  I am a Support Group Specialist for the ObesityHelp Support Group Leader Program.  

We are a support group for anyone thinking about weightloss surgery, anyone that has had weight loss surgery or for family and friends of weight loss surgery patients (this also includes Lap-Band). This is also open to anyone just wanting support in the weightloss process (surgical or not).

Lap Band Support Group

There are a number of people in our area that have experienced the miracle of Lap-Band surgery. This group will meet to give one another the support and encouragement needed to make the entire process successful!

I started this group not long after my GBS in 2005 because I didnt have anyone for support during my journey. So I wanted to start a support team for others to have during there journey, and a hand full of ladys have turned into about 25 + over the past few years, I love them all and I add new patients every week it seems Im meeting someone at the grocery store at the hospital or someone callin...

We meet on the Third Monday of every month at the Perkins restaurant on 494 & France Avenue in Edina at 6:00pm. This group is open to pre-ops, post-ops, support people, and those just starting to investigate their weight loss surgery options. This group is not limited to a specific surgeon or hospital program.
