Hello Everyone!!! My name is Diane and I had VSG surgery on March 15Th of this year. I have lost 56 lbs total to this date and I am extremely happy with my progress. I live in Connecticut alone as I am separated and unfortunately unemployed at this time. I am, however, in a good place at this time and look forward to all the positive support that will help me to continue on this journey in my new life!!! I am hoping that the group with as many members as it has becomes more active and look forward to chatting and meeting all of you wonderful positive people going through your own journey!!
Congratulations on reaching your goal weight

wow Molly.... what very wise advice. It just takes babysteps. And instead of the all or nothing attitude I can approach it with just the next right thing.
I started today while I have been tearing my craft room apart and moving it to the spare bedroom 2 flights up. Every trip I go by the kitchen I take a swig of water. Not to mention the moving I am doing is helping my body. I took a break and wenton to OH and found your post. Thank you very much for sharing.

Daily Inspiration for April 20, 2011
View permanent weight loss as a process, not an event.
Most great achievements are the result of hard work and a designated plan of action. As they are often time consuming, progress is made in small, purposeful steps.
The same is true concerning permanent weight loss. It's not just going to happen. Through a process you create and execute, you are infinitely more likely to succeed in all your endeavors. Save the "events" for birthdays and celebrations, and view permanent weight loss as a process of making a plan, and then, each day, doing the next right thing.
Action for the day: Today, simply do the next right thing. Whenever you have a decision to make, whether it's what to eat or what to do after work, do the next right thing.
