Hi my name is Jennifer and I now live in Missouri-but I had my surgery done in Florida. Honey by looking at your site you have been through HELL and back-but the LORD did stay with you and did the best thing for you. I had my Lap RNY on April 29, 2004 and have lost 98 pounds so far and it has only been a little over 6 months. I still get very sick with even drinking water. But GOD will guide me and stop my pain with lots of prayer on my part. I am so proud of you - and after reading your profile it sent chills down my spine. I am so happy that i decided to have this surgery-i have been debating for almost 6 years before getting the courage to do it. When i reached my all time high of 271 pounds and didn't even have the energy to play with my daughter i knew that enough was enough. I admire your courage and "thick headness" (LOL) for not giving into this horrible disease. My family was so worried about the drastic measure that I was taking but i told them that i would rather die on the opertating table knowing that i was doing something to stop this disease then let it slowly kill me.
