Yes, we are the same date for surgery. You'll also be in my prayers. I read your page on the things you want to do. Believe it or not, it's almost a duplicate of mine. You sound like a wonderful person. Don't lose that. I imagine you're getting nervous just like me. Take care of yourself and get your health back. Come Monday I'll be holding you in my heart and prayers.

Hi TT, Yay, we are Surgery Date Buddies! Thanks for your email. I hope we can keep in touch and support each other. I have also been getting nervous about next week and keep thinking that it is really not going to happen. It's like it is too good to be true, but yet it is. At least once a day I get a little emotional but I know that I am having WLS for all the right reasons and that I am better off taking the risk of surgery that to take a risk with getting heavier and heavier. Good luck and hope we can keep in touch! I'll try to post a pic before next week... -Alisha

Dear TT- How nice of you to send me your message of encouragement. I just got home from the hospital. Everyone was so nice!.. I have to say I am a bit achy getting up and down, but for the most part, it isn't nearly as painful as I was letting my mind imagine. You will do fine!!! I will keep you in my prayers.
