"I chose Dr. Celio Burrowes after having "shopped" around for a surgeon. He was my 3rd interview. I liked the time he spent with me, answering all questions. He mandated I did the "fobi pouch" procedure inasmuch as I was 'revision' patient, having had surgery in the pioneer days of 1976 that near KILLED me! I found him very professional, soft spoken, but with a twinkle in his eye that indicated he had a sense of humor in there with that business-like approach. I was looking for someone that took the time *I* needed and someone I felt was qualified as a bariatric surgeon. He fit the bill as far as I was concerned. He gave me the whole picture. We discussed some of the things that COULD happen, the good, the bad, and the ugly but also assured me that he felt like I would be absolutely fine. A nice balance.
He seemed a bit more hurried on my weekly visits but his office stays full and I'm understanding of that. I like the guy!!
