I AM NEW AND DO NOT KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE HERE,BUT MY HEART DOES GO OUT TO ERIN AND HER FAMILY. I WILL TRULY PRAY WITH ALL MY HEART FOR HER RECOVERY AND STRENGTH FOR HER FAMILY.MUST BE SO HARD.WELL GOOD NIGHT TO ALL WILL GO STRAIGHT TO PRAYING. LOVE AND GOD BLESS.

know that everyone here in california is thinking of you every minute. we're all hoping to see you sometime real soon at the next party, ok? that parties at cedars aren't as fun....so it's time to get better and come home!

GOOD AFTERNOON "OH" FRIENDS I just talked to the nicest mom. Erin's mom P.J. is such a sweetheart , now I know where Erin gets it from. She says that she has never seen anyone so sick in her life. Erin had a fever of 104 * and a heart rate of 170. It is now down to 100* temp and 130 heart rate. It is a bacteria that got between the two stomachs that caused the problem it got inbetween the two stomachs after they were cut and then devleoped. Mom says that Erin is about 15% better but is still not out of the woods. There is no plans to let her go home until next week at the earliest. Erins mom goes in the morning and Erin's hubby takes care of her at night. I didn't know that ICU doesn't take care of their clean up their paients or take care of bed sores. Mom has been doing all the hard work for her daughter. Erin is just misserable. Erin has developed bed sores on her back due to the fevers and the sweating. She has not had anything to eat since sunday so they have put a line in her to feed her. Not a tube into her nose, as they don't want any thing to go into her stomach. Her mom says it is a good thing that she is in ICU as she looks terrible and really not up to visitors anyway. Erins little boy is being well taken care of by grandma P.J. and grandpa. The head nurse said that in her time there she has never seen this type of thing, and it had nothing to do with her coming home early or the leak test on the table. It was just one of those weird bacterial infections that happen. They are pushing her with bags and bags of antibiotics. They are taking it one step at a time one day at a time. They are trying to get her stable so they can put her in a private room. Her Mom also said that Erin got the bear I sent and it made her feel more connected to everyone here at OH. I told P.J. to tell Erin that we all wish her a speedy recovery and we are sending prayers best wishes and love and hugs. OK I think I have remembered erveything now if not I will post later. I know you are all keeping Erin in your thoughts and prayers. I thank you for that so much. She did say that she had second thoughts about the surgery but that to is to be expected at this point, but if we all wish her well I am sure that notion will pass.

Erin...I am so sorry you are having complications. At least they didn't kick you out of the hospital....like they did me and then I ended back the next day. They will take good care of you. Prayers going up for you on a speedy recovery. Hugs. T.
