I went to the cardiologist yesterday. I have a stress test scheduled for Monday, Oct 3rd. The doc feels I will do fine and get her clearance. I also have my first Psych appt tomorrow afternoon. I got the impression I would have to meet with her at least 2x to get her clearance. I am hoping that by the end of next week I will have everything done and we can submit to insurance for approval.

I went for my consultation on 09/13 and it is looking good so far. They say my insurance will cover the procedure so I was given a list of everything I needed to get together and do to submit for approval. They said the hardest part would be getting my PCP letter of medical necessity. I was really dreading going to see him but made the appointment and went yesterday, 9/19. Well, my dread was for nothing. My PCP was all for it and is more than willing to write the med need letter. I was totally in shock. With past experience, I was sure I would have to beg and plead. Now I just need cardiac clearance, psych clearance and blood work and then we can get everything sent to insurance. I am still trying not to get to excited but so far things are going very smoothly.

 I have my first consultation appointment set for September 13th. Looking forward to starting the process
