"I went to my orientation with a surgeon in mind. Then I found out they had a new surgeon. Fresh out of his residency and specializes in LAP surgeries. Dr. McKinlay came into the class I was in and shared some information with us and that's when I decided I will have him do my surgery. I have not regreted it at all. He is so supportive and very polite and I know he cares about his patients. I wouldn't change a thing. A lot of peopel before my surgery told me not to have him do it because he was so new, but him being so new is what made me WANT to have him do it. He is up to date on all the new techniques. All docs have to get experience somewhere and I am thrilled that I was ONE of the first for him. "
