<b> Well, it's OFFICIAL!!! </b> I have now LOST more than I currently WEIGH!!! WooooHooooo! I've now lost 193lbs and currently weigh 192! *doing happy dance* Hmm... what's the next step? Well, I have my first plastic surgery date of 9/29/03! Brachioplasty... yep, that's the technical name... better known as "Wingectomy"... *laugh*! I am sooooooo looking forward to NOT having the wingspan of a turkey vulture! Just thought I would share! *hugz*

~cindy~ i have an idea what u r going through... i have had surgery on both knees... i can't walk for exercise...i go to the ymca and swim... i love water... so i get a good work out... good luck and god bless u with ur journey... lovedove

<i> Hi Everyone! I just wanted to stop by and thank everyone for all the well wishes I received! It is so nice to know that there are so many caring people out there... It's a great comfort! Well I was admitted to the hospital last Sunday. Since the previous Tuesday every time I ate I had severe stomach pains that went right through to my back. They would last for sometimes an hour.. sometimes two hours and finally subside leaving my stomach very sore. After suffering for 5 or so days, as I thought I had a stomach bug, I called the dr and to the hospital I went. They operated again on Tuesday and found a herniated bowel. Fortunate for me, there hadn't been any damage to my bowel and they were able to repair it relatively easily. I came home the next day and spent a few days with my mom. Every day I feel better... just still am very sore. Just goes to show you though, that not all complications occur early on. Still all in all, I'd have the surgery again... Just a minor bump in the road (thankfully).. cause I know it could have been a whole lot worse! *hugz* </i>

Cindy: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I had a herniated bowel at almost 2 years post=op (lap BPD/DS). This is a scary and very serious (life-threatening) complication (even though it is relatively rare). I'm so sorry you have to go through this, hon. I had emergency surgery and thank G-D am alive and well almost 5 months from that fateful day! :) I wish the same for you! All the best,
