THIS TECHNICAL GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM IS QUITE ANNOYING NOW....HERE IS MY POST AGAIN! <p> ANGEL FLYING IN ^j^..... Cindy is on her way to the hospital right now....she has been sick since Tuesday and the doctors suspect she may have a "herniated bowel"....she is worried and frightened and is asking for our prayers right now. They think they will do surgery on her today or tomorrow depending on how her test results come out when she gets down to the city today. <p> Please stop by her surgery page and leave her your prayers and well wishes. She has come so far in this WLS journey....and to have this go wrong now is a bit of a downer for her now. You think you are out of the woods from post op complications when you get past 6+ months....but this goes to show you that things can, and sometimes do go wrong even that far out. These are the risks we take to get ourselves healthy, thin and happy. I know for me personally, the few complications I had were certainly worth it for me in the long run...and I would still do it over in a heartbeat....but it is important for pre-ops to realize that this is major surgery and things dont always go as planned. <p> Keep CINDY in your prayers! Thanks!

Hi Everyone! I'm generally a lurker, but thought I would post today since I'm now 6 months post-op! I went to visit Dr. Pomp for my 6 month checkup the other day and he was thrilled! Since my LAP RNY on 7/3/02 I've lost 102 lbs !!!!! My total weightloss is 139 lbs as I had lost some weight prior to surgery. I no longer have high blood pressure and I'm no longer taking meds for diabetes! To sum it all up...... I've got my life back! Now, the next thing I have to do is take some new pics, cause the one that appears here is AWFUL! LOL!

Hey Everyone!!! Well, I don't really post much, but today I just had to. I had Lap RNY on 7/3/02, which makes me approximately 4 months post op. As of today I've lost 76 lbs since surgery and 24 prior, which makes a grand total of 100!!!!! Whew!!! I'm so excited! Actually I'm down 113 lbs from my highest weight. <really big smile>! Anyway.. I just wanted to share. <hugz for everyone>!
