Hello all,
I made it and I am on the loser's bench.
Surgery was great, I think the worst was the gas pain and the bowel prep kit

Yesterday was my FINAL pre-op with Dr. Ganser. He is such a nice man
and I am very comfortable with him, he answered allmy last minute questions and gave me a few last minute instructions as well.
I really have not been very nervous this whole time, but when he said "well, I will see you bright and early Monday morning" that was a entirely different story, it made it real and a bit nervous!!!!
So, this will be my last post pre-op and until I come back to work. I don't have a computer at home so I won't have access..:(

Almost there..
Yesterday, I went for the pre admissions at the hospital and did my blood work, EKG and chest x-ray. They told me it would take 90 minutes and I was done in 15!!!!!!!!!
So tomorrow @ 3:45 is my last appointment with my surgeon, and then Monday @ 5:45 am is my big day.

Had the pre-op at the surgeon's office and I am glad I went, but it was mostly a recap of everything we all have read or heard. Today is day 4 of my liquid diet and it is not as easy as I thought it would be, the headaches were the worst for the first 3 days and now it is better. I can eat certain veggies at dinner and I am thankful for that.
I figure this is one small thing for better health. Monday the 12th is my pre-op testing and then the 19th is the big day!!!

Today I have a meeting at my surgeon's office and we will discuss what to expect before, during and after. I am excited and this is one step closer.

Today is the first day of my 14 day liquid diet. I just drank my first shake of bariatrix essentials the chocolate flavor and it was alot like the medifast diet shakes.
My surgery is 2 weeks from today, and I hope those teo weeks go fast because I am very anxious.

Less than 1 month to go. I am no longer nervous but now I am excited and I am so ready to begin and start to get healthy.
I read the stories of others on the boards and I am so encouraged, I know I can do this.

Oh boy, I just got my date of 11-19-07 @ 7:30 am. I am sure this is the right thing for me, but boy am I anxious.

All of my paperwork has been submitted to Aetna. Now we hurry up and wait. I am so nervous!!
