Holy cow!!! today I went to my last of the 6 months PCP WI's!!  I called my patient advocate, and she handed my file over to the lady who submits the file to the insurance.

I have Aetna, and supplied everything they asked for, so now we wait and see... 

PLEASE PRAY AND SEND ME GOOD VIBES!!!!

Yesterday was my 5th WI with my PCP.  My next will be on the 10th of October, and then I will be submitted for approval to Aetna.

My surgeon is about 6 weeks out in scheduling for the operation, so I am thinking November.... 

On the 18th, I went to the support group meeting that my insurance requires, and I met the nicest people.  I felt so welcomed, and it really helped to affirm the decision I had made.

After the meeting, the leader hugged me and told me "you are going to be a knock out"....I have never been told that before, these are real people and I cannot wait to go back!!

Well....  I have 2 more months of the Dr. supervised weigh ins before they can submit my packet to my insurance.  I have completed everything else and I kind of figure my surgery will hopefully be in October.

I think I will be approved because of the diabetes, and the amount of insulin I take just to maintain.  I have laughed and cried reading stories on here and I hope to make new friends.
