It seems like forever.

Since my last apt i initially thought i would be given a surgery date that same week (only self paying get it done that soon) To my surprise and in SHOCK they said anywhere from 6-12 months till there is a bed available.I was so depressed that weekend my husband did take me on a weekend get away. It was wonderful but now its AUG and still no date.
I went in yesterday to see where i fall on the surgery list, maybe they could give me an actual date. The Dr. is on vacation and wont be in till Sept 22. I talked to his colleague and he gave me his cell number and told me to call him after the 22nd (no Dr likes to give his #) that made me feel a little better. I hope by Dec ill finally be able to be on the losers bench. This waiting is killing me. I really wish i would have looked into this surgery 5 years ago. I'm will be turning 32 in Oct and I'm starting to feel old, i want to be able to rock my sleeve before i get to old, looool (no offense anyone) Mean while its still a waiting game.
