<FONT COLOR=BLUE><b>Amy, </b><br> Amy and I have the same surgeon and originally had the same surgery date of Oct 4th. I was able to have my WLS on Oct 7th, but Amy had her date delayed again to problems with her white blood count. <p> I wanted to post this note on your surgery page and on the message board because you deserve lots of congratulations for hanging in there through all the postponements! <p> You've been a very supportive friend to me since my surgery even though you've had to wait for yours, and I really appreciate that. :-) <p> I can't wait to watch your journey to health and to see your enjoyment of life get better and better as the weight comes off. <p> I hope everyone will send their love, support, and prayers to Amy as her big day approaches this Thursday. She is a special lady with a great life ahead of her once her health improves after the WLS. <p> With love and faith,</font>

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will love your new life, you will be able to do so many new things again. May the power of speedy healing be with you. Welcome to the losing side. Just remember others have been on the road before you, you are not alone and there will be others after you who will seek the same road as you, and you will be there to help them along

Hi everyone. I'm so excited, my surgeons office called today,, my blood and chest xrays came out good,, I'm due to have my surgery on "November 14th" When I got the message I started yelling "I've got it" then I started crying because I was so happy, then I got scared when my boyfriend told me that the 14th is next week. I'm just so thankful that my blood work came out good, and now I can proceed to the next step,,surgery. Good luck to everyone.
