I'm 44 years old and have a wonderful husband, Paul, who supports me in just about everything, and two grown kids. My son, Shaun is 25 and lives in Quincy, MA. My daughter, Sharlene is 21, who is married to Josh, and they have a wonderful son, Landon (I just love that little fella 
, and I love being a very "young" grandma, he's 3 years old) and they live in Vershire, VT. I'm an empty nester and miss them terriably. I have a Rat-Terrier dog, Libby, and she's just so special to me. I'm very close to my mom, who lives in Arizona.
I've always been heavy. Been on every diet atleast 3 times and end up heavier than when I started. When I got married in 1983, I weighed 200 pounds and was devistated then! I have my Neurospine Surgeon, Dr. Kleeman to thank as he put me on the road to being healthy. I had an appt with him the fall of 2006 for severe back pain, and he reamed at me for an hour 
, I have disc degeneration and a slipped disc and he suggested the lap-band surgery for me. I commend all of you for what you've done or are about to do - Everyone looks awesome on this website!
