Hi, I found this site whilst researching RNY I'm really looking for support as I know no one who has had the procedure.

I'm uk based and looking for any hints/tips/advice on pre-op and hospital stay.

Hi everyone, I stumbled across this site whilst researching RNY. I think I've read every website there is. I'm nervous and excited at the prospect of surgery.

I'm hoping for hints/tips/advice for pre-op and hospital, what did everyone take with them. What would you say is essential?

I've started the liver shrinking diet and so far that's going ok. I'm based in the uk and paying privately for surgery. My current bmi is 37 I'm hoping to get down to 25, anything extra will be a wonderful bonus.

If anyone can offer any advice, I will be incredibly grateful.
