So my province is picking up the tab for my surgery, so long as I qualify and are accepted. I found out today that I did and my initial assessment is Feb 1st, 2016. Unfortunetly I have a major conflict with work that day. So I have to push it back to the end of the month. I'm so happy to be moving forward! I spoke to my employer and she was completely supportive. I need to tell some family members and then my core support group is established.

So you know the poem If you love it set it free?..... well that's where it stops for me, I am setting free food that I love.
Black Jack Cherry Frozen Yogurt - it's so yummy but I have eaten enough of it for a life time ...goodbye
Cheese Bread - I could never find a loaf with enough cheese ....goodbye
Donuts - how do I love thee, let me count the ways...apparently it's all in pounds ...goodbye
Alcohol - you are not my friend and I don't want you in my life ...goodbye
Charbonated beverages - we broke up 2 years ago and there's no chance of reconciliation...goodbye
Potato Chips - it's like a piece of toliet paper stuck to your shoe, you just have to grab it and yank...goodbye
I will add to this list just as a point of reference. I had already started letting go of a lot of these things and more so my system (brain) won't be in complete shock.
One thing that has really struck me it there isn't a lot of salad eating. If I had to eat salads for the rest of my life I could not go through with this surgery but everyone is eating things I already like, just lower calorie, smaller portions and a lot more protein than I eat currently. I'm feeling so ready for this. Bring it on.

Currently trying to get my ducks in a row so I'm not the hold up in the process.
I struggle with getting my iron and using my cpap machine so I'm starting there.
I set a goal to lose 10 pounds just to have something to work towards.
