"My first consult with Dr. Richards was on August 12, 2003. I first saw his intern, an Italian doctor by the name of Torquolatti. They were both wonderful and very patient with me, especially since I had 2 pages of questions. Dr Richards seemed to be very serious and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable knowing he is my surgeon.
My surgery was a success! I was very blessed to have 2 wonderful surgeons.

"I think that Vanderbilt has excellent doctors, but I cannot sat the same about the nurses and staff. I was there from Tuesday to Friday and I can say that out of maybe 6 nurses there were only 2 that were really caring and sensitive to my needs. I did not need much either because my mom was there with me the entire time. Day and Night!!!!
The nurses were very capable but some of them were rude and most of them were extremely overworked. Maybe I was just unlucky but that was my experience."
