Jan. 15, Went to my post op visit and lowing behold in 12 days I was down 9 pounds. God that was so nice. I am feeling really good. I have now started with regular food. I cannot seem to get some things to even go down very good so I just stay away from them. I hope to continue on the road to loosing. Till next time. Good luck to everyone who is having surgery and also to recovering. Take your time.

Hi Everyone, Yes I am home. Came home yesterday afternoon. I am sore, but getting around really good. I need no help to get up or anything like that. I even slept in my own bed part of the night last night. Dr. Rodriguez said everything went real well. Of course I am on liquids for a week or two cannot remember exactly, have to call Monday for my first appointment so I will ask to make sure. I had just gotten pain medication when he came to see me, so I was a little woooosy. I think that getting up and walking helps alot. I walked everytime I got a pain shot, so it wouldn't hurt as much. Must have worked. I am sore, but mostly having alot of gas in my chest area. So I will need to get up and walk around today. I want to thank each and everyone of you who had me in your prayers. And a special thanks to my best friend, my angel, Connie. She is a great friend and I was really glad to hear from her. It is great to have a great friend to share things with and she is mine. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart, Connie. Well I am now post op and for any other progress updates you will have to go to my main page. I still want to hear from you all from time to time. Please keep in touch. Talk to you all later.

Barb, When you get home and read this, you'll know I was saying a prayer for you and you are in my thoughts! The first week is rough but you heal fast with Lap Banding and will be so, so happy as you feel better and see the weight drop off. If you have any trouble with plateau's down the road, email me cuz I just broke through my first one that lasted 15 days! Keep walking, coughing, drinking and dreaming! HUGS! Carol Percel

Well this will be the last day to post for a few days. Surgery in the morning!!! YEAH!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement. Keep me in your prayers tommorrow. Already went to the grocery and got stocked up, one less thing to worry with. The only thing I forgot was Dole Strawberry Popsicles. I am going to talk to my Angel and see if she will bring some over after I get home. Well I just called and confirmed my surgery to make sure it was still a go. A OK!!! Well to everyone that is waiting for their day may my blessings be upon you. Talk to you all when I get home. God Bless
