I wish you luck and best wishes on your big day! We can celebrate our new "birthday" months together from now on!! My surgery is also in January, 01/13/2003. God bless you and hope you have a speedy recovery and speedy weight loss! Keep in touch!

I HAVE A DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JANUARY 3rd, 2003. Alright, what a way to start off my new year. No resolution to make this year except to be healthier. What a blessing. I will be having my surgery at University of Louisville. I am sooooo glad. I just posted yesterday and they told me that it would probally be in February. Boy was I surprised to see this letter from the surgical team.

Well I have been precertified for surgery from Medicare. It only took a week for them to get the precertification back, but it is being delayed on the surgeons desk. He is running behind 2 weeks on dictation, so now I just wait until he gets to me. I asked the nurse if they could push me on up since I am just having the Adjustable Gastric Band. Maybe they can and maybe they can't, but now I know I will have the surgery. I guess the next update will be with my surgery date.

Hello, I went to my 2nd appointment with the surgeon today. Everything is a go, just got to wait to hear back from Medicare to make sure they will pay for the adjustable gastric band. The nurse Reta said they usually have no problem getting them to ok it. So now I wait for a week or two for that wonderful phone call, THE DATE!!!! I cannot hardly wait. The nurse said that it looks like I will be scheduled by the end of January 2003. What a way to start out the new year with a new me. No more making that same damn resolution to loose weight, right??? I am feeling really good. I had gained 1 1/2lbs since my visit in November. Well guess that is all I have to say on this update, wait wait wait, Thankyou to all who congradulated me on my wedding. It went great and our homeymoon was wonderful. Yes he loved me fat, will he love me skinnier????????????? I am pretty sure he will. Talk to you all later.
