Melissa, We all feel as if we are the same weight as before our surgery. It takes time for our brain to catch up, we did not have brain surgery. I'm almost 13 months post-op and I still feel fat and I've lost 200 lbs+. I know in my heart that I'm doing okay, but not in the mirrors. Take it one day at a time. God Bless.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/cl/clay-deborah-oh-1fc.jpg)

I AM 3 MONTHS OUT AND DOWN 61 POUNDS. GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR NEW LIFE. DEB C![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/gl/glynn-justin-al-1fc.jpg)

Melissa, About your post today (5-27) about worring if you are not losing. I have cried many a tear thinking that I was the one who will never lose. I'm a slow loser and I have had issues from day one thinking I will not lose another pound since I fight to get every one off. Guess what? I have lost and you will too. Slow or not it will come off if you give yourself and your body time. Hang in there. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02 down 90+![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/gl/glynn-justin-al-1fc.jpg)

Hi Melissa my same day surgery buddy. I've been having the same problem with fluids. My NP told me the ame thing about being readmitted to the hospital for dehydration. Plus they say we may not lose as quickly our body is fighting to hang onto the surgery fluids. The popsicles go down so easily that I am thinking of getting one of those hawaiian ice machines. I have found that drinking the water warm makes it go down much easier.Good luck!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/w/wilson-janice-W1009549719-1fc.jpg)

Dear Melissa, Sugar Free Popsicles are great to keep that fluid moving into you. I was constantly sucking on one of them those first few weeks. Take care and follow the rules and may you be blessed with ultimate success. Hugs and blessings Janice 353/153![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/sl/summers-wendy-1fc.jpg)
