Surgery was on 1/16/02, things went pretty well. My outlet stoma was so swollen I couldn't keep anything down for 5 days. But once it opened, all was good ..... even green jello! I spent a few extra days in the hospital, but no big deal. Am now dealing with lethagry and some trouble getting enough in (nutrients and water) as I feel full all the time. Any suggestions out there? 25 pounds are gone, very hard to believe! Lisa

Okay, my date is drawing near (only 15 more days)and I'm getting more and more excited! My family is finally asking a lot of questions so I'm feeling better about their acceptance of the surgery and my choice. I hope all pre-ops are doing well and God Bless to all post-ops. I know this isn't a "get out of fat jail free card" and I know you are all working hard to meet your goals. I'll just be glad to be on the loosing side with you!
