Well, Renee' came out of surgery around 1:30PM...and she is doing GREAT!! Husband Ray called me and let me know that she was in some bigtime pain until the painkillers kicked in!! Thank God for them!! On a historical note..and this is SOOOO COOL!!! Renee is the first person to have gastric bypass surgery (Open RNY) at the BRAND-spankin' new Bariatric Treatment Centers of America's FIRST ever Bariatric ONLY hospital in the WORLD!!! Her husband said everything is catered to 'big' people!! It's about friggin' time!! Yee HA!!! Renee'--YOU GO GIRL!!

I am wishing you the very best of luck with your surgery and letting you know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will be having my surgery on 9/18 and am so excited. Remember to say a little prayer, turn it all over to the Good LORD and then have faith, then all you have to do is enjoy the new life you have chosen to give yourself. Way to go we are going to do GREAT.

I can understand your anxiety because I have it too!!! I am hoping to have my RNY by the end of Oct at OSU and I just want to offer my support and let you know you aren't alone. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
