Hi Diana, You are too much!! What a wonderful angel you are, I am sooooo blessed! Thank you so much for your prayers, support, and successful effort to "fill up my AMOS page." You are truly a fantastic woman Diana and I am so happy that your surgery has been and will continue to be successful. You deserve it...

Hi AMOS Family! Well, I am 4 weeks post-op as of today, -22lbs. It's not as much as I would like cuz I am so darned impatient! OK....so I like instant gratifacation....Who doen't! Anyhow, I have not measured inches yet since surgery, but I have noticed my pants are starting to feel a heck of a lot more comfy! My lovely 10" incision is healing nicely, I am not shy about hiking up my shirt to show anyone my battle scar! maybe a year from now, I will make it into a nice vine with flowers tatoo.....anyhow, I am really finally starting to feel way more human....especially since I can poop now too! boy those pain pills sure can bind up the bowels! well all I have to say is Lile is Grand! Hang in there Pre-ops your day will be here before you know it...don't fret it isn't so bad! and all you posties...Welcome to the losing side! Warmest wishes to all!

I just spoke with Diana who had BPD/DS surgery Monday. She spent the night in the ICU (routine) and is doing very well. She had just come back from her first walk. She said she is running a little fever and that during the surgery there was some problem with her spleen(?). Anyway she still has the epidural and was in great spirits. She figures Saturday or Sunday she'll be out of the hospital. It's very interesting to me, not only is Diana a friend, we have the same surgeon, surgery, and hospital. I'll be doing exactly what she is in one month. She thanks everybody for their support and prayers.
