Hi Kathy, You sound like such a funny girl! I loved that post you made about the "drastic" surgery rather than "gastric" LOL!! Too Funny!!! But how much TP does your mom really think you are gonna need? LOL I mean you wont be eating much thats for sure! Haha Anyways, I just really wanted to wish you well on your surgery. I am still awaiting approval and that should be by the end of the month hopefully. I am so excited for you and all of the others who are ready to go this next week. Kathy, Best of wishes to you as you start your new way of life. It is sooooo awesome!! The cigarettee issue is a hard one. I managed to stop before my surgery but little by little I have reagined that nasty habit. My new goal is to stop once more. KimmieTN

Hi-just me testing to see if this is what my son will have to do to update from my surgery page. Speaking of surgery pages-I have received many wonderful, beautiful well wishes from lots of AMOS folks and want to thank all of you. However, I have noticed some pretty empty surgery pages for the coming week. So, if you all could post to others, also. I started doing it when I started receiving well wishes because it brightens one's day so much! Also, I was trying to keep my hands busy so I wouldn't smoke and it's worked for the past 4 days! Yay! Now, I sip water and do breathing exercises while I post. Remember-a lot of people have gone through long battles and waits to get to this point. Ok-enough-I will quit trying to "Motherize". By the way, speaking of my mother-now she doesn't think I'll be able to take her to have cataract surgery on the 27th because she thinks I won't be able to get away from the toilet long enough after I have "drastic" (instead of 'gastric') surgery. Ai yi yi. And she thinks she needs to get more TP while it's on sale because the 24 rolls she got me won't last very long. Geeeezzzzzz. Peace and love.
