Nae, Thank you so much for your message. I was so glad to hear from you and learn that I am not alone here in NJ. I can relate to much of what you had written about. The emotions, the reactions from family, etc... I was to the point where I created an information packet to give to my close friends and family members. Surprisingly, most of them took the time to read everything that I had sent and they gained a new perspective. They realized that I wasn't jumping into this, that I realized the risks involved and the lifelong commitment that I was prepared to make. They were still skeptical, but at least they were getting facts, not the rumors that they heard or misinformation that was out there about this procedure. Since then, many people have seen what I have gone through, they have shared in my successes and in reaching my milestones. Many now go on to enlighten others based on my experiences and the information that I have provided them and the information that they have collected themselves. It is a beautiful thing. I feel like I have not only helped myself, but also helped inspire hope in other people. You are truly inspirational. Your writings tell the story of what we go through, the hopes and the triels before surgery. You have also shown that the perseverance pays off. You are doing fabulous!! Congratulations. I know you must be feeling great. Thank you so much for inspiring me to keep focused and maintain a positive attitude.

I want to thank you personally for your advice and words of encouragement. It was what I needed today. I actually went to a local park that has a walk way around a pond that is equivalent to 1 mile. I DID IT!!!!!! It took me 20 minutes and I didn't stop one time. I started to breathe a little hard, but it felt so good finishing up that mile and not being tired. What a rush! It happened because of your support. THANK YOU!!! I'm going to do this 3 times a week, but my goal is to be walking a mile daily within 2 weeks. Enough about me, you have done a GREAT JOB at your weight loss. You should be so proud of yourself. Keep up the great work and please stay in touch with me. God Bless.
