Janie is having surgery on tuesday 7-23. She is having her gall bladder removed. Janie has done such a wonderful job on her weight loss venture. So this is just a bump in her journey. Please everyone go to Janie's page and wish her luck on her upcoming surgery.

Janie, I am glad that your trip to the hospital wasn't somehthing wrong from your surgery. I know those gall bladder attacks are painful. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

Dear Janie~~~~CONGRATULATIONS!!! on the approval for you panniculectomy. I had that and a herniorraphy done on 5/21---an overnight stay in the hospital. The discomfort was manageable with the Morphine and then the pain medication by mouth. Couldn't stand up straight for a while but that was all outlined for me by the doc ahead of time. Most annoying thing was the drains. If I can be of any help to you, please email me. I pray that your procedure is uneventful and your recovery complete. BTW, plastic surgery is like painting the baseboards in a room--do that and then you see how bad the walls look.Next year, if I save enough pennies I would like my arms and bust done. Janie, You look fabulous....dahling!! Don't let anyone tell you that you are too skinny cuz you are 5'3" and at 120 you are perfect...I am scheduled for surgery on July 22 and I am about the size you were to start and am 46 yrs of age and I sure hope I can look like you next year!!!

Janie, never mind the show, you're already beautiful! Go sign up with one of the makeup counters at the mall, they will usually do your makeup for free to show off their products! Big hugs and lotsa love!

Janie! I would not worry about the Maury show dropping you! I am sure that once they looked at all of your "after" pics, they saw they could not give you a makeover, that you were lovely enough on your own! That has to be the reason!! Janie, I wanted to let you know that when I first stumbled across this website a mere month ago, I printed out your profile. Your story is inspirational. Your "starting" weight/height is where I am now. I am using you as my goal...what I can become someday. I am very proud of you and am greatly encouraged by your story.
