Unfortunately, I did not have my surgery on 9/19/01 because during prepping for surgery I had mentioned that I had a pulled calf muscle. The hospital staff being on the safe side had my left leg checked out with a sonagram. They found a blood clot behind my knee causing the pain. So I did arrive at the hospital but my life was saved before I had surgery due to deligence of the nurse and my surgeon. I am now posponed until February 2002. Take care everyone.

On 8/27/01, I had my pre-admission testing. I am not sure if I want to do the epidural or the pump. I can make up my mind when I go in for surgery. Since I do not have good land marks to see where to go in for the epidural, I am hesitant of going through someone trying to push a needle through to my spinal cord. I can't believe how time is flying by so fast.
