I'm not Sonia's official angel, but I saw her today and she asked me to post and tell everyone how well she's doing. Because of the morphine she's been pretty groggy, but she's in a good mood, drinking and sitting up. She has a very supportive husband, Nestor; and the two of them celebrated their 30th anniversary by celebrating Sonia's re-birth! Congrats Sonia & Nestor!

Talked to Sonia's husband around 3:00pm today and he told me that she was in recovery. Congratulations my dear friend hope to meet you soon on the other side. May GOD bless you and guide your path to recovery.

Dear Sonia, Congrats! I saw Nestor this morning in the surgery waiting room...what's this I hear about dancing this morning out of excitement???!!! Good Luck to you and let me know if I can help you out in any way!

Sonia, Good luck with your surgery today! I hope everything goes great and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. Walk as much as you possibly can. It really does help gain your strength back and prevents complications.
