hey just wanted to see how you are doing. I am doing fine. I am back at work and everyone says that I am looking good :-) I can't wait until a year from now..to see how i am going to look. I wish I could peek into the future...don't you wish you could? Be good!

Thanks for writing me back, Shawnna! I have been driving okay. I have only driven twice since surgery. Once was to go to an aftercare meeting and the other was to go to the mall. I got a little exercise (walking) and bought some stuff at Lane Bryant and perused the bookstore. I couldn't walk fast but I was moving. I hardly ever take the pain medication anymore. Like you I worry that I am not drinking enough water, BUT it is tough when all you can do is sip, sip sip. Before surgery I was used to GULP GULP :-0) I am so jealous, your doctor has you on Mashed potatoes already!! I am supposed to be able to eat that at my 3 week point and after I get my first post-op check-up. I can't wait to eat real Food (scrambled eggs & mashed pototoes, yum!!) Well, Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I am shawnna's Angel She made it through surgery really well She is having some breathing problems but they are doing the breathing treatments. I went and seen her at the hospital last night. I called today and they have her up and walking today. She is sore and tired from the walk. Keep her in your prayers Joni

SHAWNNA, You will be in my thoughts and prayers, you are almost to the other side, just know the Good Lord is with you and call on HIM and HE will be there. I am scheduled for 9/18 so I will be following you and want you to know I am praying for a speedy recovery. Best of Luck.^j^ --
