Hey Sharon....Isn't it great knowing that you are now a LOSER! Ok...so it doesn't feel great at this time....but it will! I will be one month post op tomorrow and I am down 27.5 lbs! God Bless and God Speed on your recovery! :o)

Hi! I'm Sharon's sister. She made it through her surgery yesterday very well!!! She was up walking last night and again today (much to her dismay)! She is in a lot of pain - but she is much stronger than she gives herself credit for and I know she will be able to get through it. Tomorrow she has to have an x-ray to make sure that she is not having any leakage and she may be able to come home on Thursday. I know that she appreciates the kind words and thoughts that have been sent her way by everyone on this website. Thanks for helping her get through this! She is such a wonderful person and definitely my inspiration!!

Hello friends~ Angel Reporting....Just got off the phone with our wonderful friend, Sharon. Surgery went well yesterday morning, they took her back @ 12:30pm....surgery went well, took a little longer due to Adhesions and a hernia that needed repaired....but all is well. She still has the NG tube today, which comes out tomorrow.....but believe it or not she said the NG is not as bad as she thought!! (((thank GOD)))...She is having some abdominal incision pain and is getting up to walk, but doesn't feel the Morphine drip is working too much.....expecting to come home on Thurs or Friday.
