Congratulations on your upcoming sugery. I hope that everything goes wonderful with your sugery, and I hope that you recover quickly. I am having Lap RNY on August 16th here in Colorado. Soon you will be on the loosing side. Good luck with everything and take care, Diane

Hey Annie, How are you? I'm sorry we've been playing phone tag. Please feel free to call my home number any evening. I am usually home. As our big day, August 9th grows closer and closer, a peaceful calm is coming over me. I attended a mandatory class Dr. Weaver requires yesterday at AGH and that helped a lot. One man was there 18 months post op and down 300 lbs. He still weights 400. I applaud that man. They told me my EKG was slightly abnormal. I am somewhat concerned about that. Now I need OR clearance by my PCP and possibly a cardiologist. The nurses told me I'll be fine, (I've had a slightly irregular heartbeat since I was a kid and have never been on meds for it or anything, it's worse now though with all this damn weight)but it's for my own good to get maybe a stress test. They don't expect a postponement of my surgery. She said people with high blood pressure and much worse EKG's sail through fine. At first I freaked, but am calmer now. IT's out of my hands. I hope you are well and I do think of you. Please call when you can. Thanks Jan.
