Amy, I had the same concerns about scaring. I ended up being one of the FEW patients whose incisions go keloid. Keloid is when your skin heals bumpy and purple. With the aid of mederma and pressing down on the incisions and massaging them, they have all but one gone flat. The thinner I get the more I notice the scars shrinking. I am worse case scenerio and it is not bad and does not stop me from wearing my bikinis. People don't even notice them. I think by next year they will be almost invisible if they continue to improve at this rate. I will post my bikini picture later next week. I got a digital camera for my b-day and will get the updated photo of me up asap. I am 160/ 5'9 and fit in some size 8's! I can't believe it. I even LIKE the way I look in my bikinis. I never thought I'd be saying that! BEST WISHES!!
